Infertility Testing

Innovative Infertility Testing Pinpoints the Causes and Leads to a Cure

When should you pursue
fertility testing?

If after one year of trying, you do not get
pregnant, you should seek treatment.
Women over 35 should contact a fertility
specialist after six months.

Assessment and infertility testing can lead to a breakthrough in your quest to conceive a baby. Fertility specialist Dr. Mark Rispler employs the latest treatments and surgical techniques to help couples overcome barriers to pregnancy.

Dr. Rispler and his Manhattan Beach fertility center staff offer their patients the benefit of over 20 years of experience.  Dr. Rispler’s well honed diagnostic skills backed by advanced fertility methods will get you the results you need.

Your initial consultation will carefully review your history with a suggestion of the most straightforward infertility tests to rule out ovulatory dysfunction, male infertility, physical obstructions and age-related fertility issues.

Female Infertility Testing

If you do not ovulate regularly, we can test for underlying causes such as polycystic ovary syndrome or PCOS, Diminished Ovarian Reserve, and Premature Ovarian Failure. Blood tests will reveal imbalances in hormone levels that drug therapy can often correct.  Age related infertility is especially common today and is a specialty of Innovative Fertility Center.

Vaginal ultrasound and minimally invasive procedures help identify physical causes of infertility. Dr. Rispler routinely performs in-office sonohysterograms and hysterosalpingograms (HSG) to detect blocked fallopian tubes and uterine abnormalities. Hysteroscopy or a laparoscopic procedure can help Dr. Rispler diagnose and treat endometriosis, polyps or uterine fibroids that may interfere with conception.

Male Infertility Testing

Male factor accounts for approximately 40 percent of all cases of infertility. We’ll enlist Innovative Fertility Center’s onsite lab to test for low sperm counts and semen abnormalities. Other inhibitors to infertility such as varicoceles and prior vasectomies can be successfully treated with Advanced Reproductive Technologies such as IUI (intrauterine insemination), IVF (in vitro fertilization) and ICSI (forced fertilization through sperm injection).

Preimplantation Genetic Screening

PGD and PGS offers peace of mind for couples that wish to get pregnant, but worry about genetic or inheritable diseases.  Genetic screening such as PGD/PGS (preimplantation genetic screening) in conjunction with in-vitro fertilization (IVF) can improve your chances for achieving a viable and healthy pregnancy.

An expertly managed fertility testing regimen offers your best chance for resolving female and male infertility. Contact Innovative Fertility Center to design a proactive plan for achieving your dream of becoming a parent.
